about the photography

The fact is you are going to spend more time with your photographer than any other vendor on your wedding day. It is important that not only you love their work, but you also get along with them, share the same ideas and you find them patient enough for your special day.

THE PROFESSIONAL

…unpredictable light, stressful in-laws, touchy officiant or pastor, flowers running late, a day that’s having a few bumps along the way. We want everything to be perfect, of course but you can be assured: No matter the circumstance, trust me to squeeze every grain of my considerable experience, skill and creativity to get you the images you want.

THE PHOTOJOURNALIST

Weaving strong emotions with short-lived moments to create a rich canvas of your wedding day. Images that tell a story full of laughter, connections, and personality – of people looking their best and being their best (or worst).

THE PORTRAITIST

I like to call this ‘wind down time’ or ‘our time’. An opportunity for us to work together, to create, to enjoy a cheeky glass of champagne together – and make a bunch of portraits that creatively reflect you.

ABOUT ME

I’m Adi, the face behind Adict Creative Photography. I have been a photographing weddings, fashion, studio headshots and lifestyle photography since 2010.

I have lived in the United Kingdom for most of my life and relocated to Canmore in 2018. In 2012 I decided to study photography and after years of fun and hard work I have graduate with a BA Honours Degree in Photography and Visual Arts at the University of Hertfordshire in the United Kingdom.

Although I can’t draw to save my life, I love art in all its forms - photography and all visual arts, theatre, opera and poetry. Every image I capture is a moment that will never be the same again no matter how hard I/we try to recreate it.

My visual focus has always been and will always be on human emotion and I have been drawn to people’s faces since childhood.
