Wedding Booth Canmore.jpg

we’ll handle anything your day throws our way

…let’s get personal

With us, photography feels less like ‘just another part of the day’, and more like something we actually look forward to. Having done this job for over eleven years, we have seen it all, so you can trust that.

What area do you service?

We are licensed to photograph in Canmore, Banff Town, Banff National Park, Yoho National Park, and Jasper National Park.

How long have you been a photographer for and what is your background?

Adi has been photographing professionally since 2010 and graduated from the University of Hertfordshire in England with a Batchelor of Arts Degree in Photography. His expertise has always been working with people photographing studio portraits, fashion shows, actors’ headshots, family portraits, and wedding photography.

How far do you book?

Being a full-time wedding photographer Adi has the flexibility to book from one day to one year in advance. Please get in touch for more details.

Do you charge travel fees?

No, all prices cover traveling up to 250km from Canmore. Anything more will be $45/100km.

Do you offer an installment plan and can we pay by credit card for our wedding?

Yes, we can customise your installments to suit your needs and you can pay by credit card or Interac e-Transfer.

What makes you different from other photographers?

Adi sees himself as a creative photographer or as some might refer to as peoples’ photographer. In contrast to many other photographers who focus mostly on the business side of wedding photography, he really does care about how you feel in front of his camera.

The editing is pretty minimal and natural. Adi’s goal is to create with his camera, not Photoshop. His shooting and editing style is realistic and storytelling, always looking to deliver images that will not have an outdated look in 5 to 10 years time.

All images are print ready and will look just as they did on the day of your wedding or session.

What is your turnaround time?

We respect client privacy, therefore we chose to not to use external editing companies - all editing is done by us, here in Canmore.

For wedding photography 10-12 weeks for large weddings. For portrait photography, engagements, and elopements, between 2 - 3 weeks. However, Adi always provides 10 -15 previews within 24 hours of your wedding or session. Please note that during our busy season from June through to November there might be some delays.

How many images will I receive?

Every wedding or session is different and we are very picky with your images. As a guide, usually 30-50 edited images per hour. The images will be delivered in an online gallery (low resolution), to view and share with friends and family. Your high-resolution files will be delivered by WeTransfer (server download), and an optional USB flash drive sent to your home address as a backup if needed.

The forecast says there is a chance of rain, will this affect our session or how the images will look?

No, we do not cancel sessions or weddings due to wildfire smoke, light rain, or drizzle and fog. If the client decides to cancel it will be at their expense.

Do you provide retouching, colour adjustment, or corrective services?

Yes, all your photos will receive basic colour correction/touchups within Adobe Photoshop Lightroom or Capture One Pro so that they shine! We do NOT do air-brushing or any other advanced editing. Should the client request this service, there is a $5 +GST charge per image.

Are our images going to be watermarked?

No, the only time images will be delivered watermarked is when the balance has not been fully paid.

How long do you back up our images for?

We keep your RAW images for up to 2 years. Your low-resolution online gallery will stay active for up to 1 year.

What is your rescheduling policy?

Providing the new date is not already booked, we allow up to 2 changes and there are no fees to do so.

When is our final balance due for our wedding?

We ask for a 50% non-refundable retainer due within 3 days of receiving your e-invoice along with a signed contract otherwise your inquiry will be dismissed and your booking cancelled. The final balance will be due 30 days before your wedding or elopement day and you will receive automated payment reminders when the deposit or any remaining balance is due.

Is the deposit refundable?

Unfortunately, session and wedding photography deposits are non-refundable.

Do you work with a videographer?

No, we do not offer videography services, however, we can accommodate setting up a static camera on a tripod for the Ceremony or the First Dance.

Do you edit all our photos?

Yes, Adi is very particular about realistic-looking skin, temporary blemishes, and distracting objects. He will never send images to some company for bulk editing.

Do you capture our images in RAW of JPG format and can we have unedited files?

We always capture your images on two cards in RAW format - the second card acts as back-up to the first. No, we DO NOT provide unedited files to our clients.

What equipment do you use?

We currently use Canon, Profoto, EIZO, Apple, and Godox as our main equipment brands, but this can change at any given time. The images will be captured on 2 x Canon 5D MK IV, 2 x Canon R6 and we ONLY use professional-grade lenses like the Canon RF 28-70mm f/2.8 or the Canon RF 50mm f/1.2.

Do you have liability insurance?

Yes, we have liability insurance up to 2 million Canadian dollars and equipment insurance of CA$25,000.

Do you offer prints and albums?

Yes, we currently offer a free photo book with all our wedding photography packages. We provide your digital images, low and high resolution, as soon as they are ready, however, during the busy season, the printed album might take up to 8 weeks after editing is complete to be delivered to you. Please see our prices link for additional information.

How do we book you and what is the process?

We like things “on paper”! So, you can either fill in the contact form found on our pricing page or email us directly at info@adictcreative.com letting us know as many details as possible regarding your wedding day including date, location, ceremony time, special requirements, etc.

In order to make the booking, the only information we need is your full name, mobile number, and email address. We do not take credit card details over the phone/email or keep details of it. All our card transactions, e-invoices, and bookings are carried out using SquareUp card terminal; e-transfer details will be showing on your e-invoice.
